Like I said, the first half was decent with McCarthy providing lots of pace but he tired eventually and the midfield got mullered in the second half. Figueroa was abysmal

I think most off the reviews of last night’s match were written before we kicked off. A lot of people have chosen to completely ignore the extremely positive way we played in the first half as it doesn’t suit their argument.
Alas, a mad 15 mins, notably from Thomas, put a game that we may well have won (we’ll never know) well out of reach.
Positives? Good to hear Al Wilson’s The Snake being played at the end of the game.

Is there any other ground in the country that plays ‘The Snake’? I doubt it.That song always reminds me of white chocolate mice, cans of warm Red Stripe, and Isuzu Troopers for some reason.
