23 December 2017 at 9:28 pm #164464Rovers and Bradford dropping points unexpectedly has made today even better if that’s possible. Thanks to Cookie and the lads for the early prezzie. My liver will resemble Olly Reeds by the end of the season.
23 December 2017 at 9:37 pm #164465Glad I was there to witness that, by far the best football we have played since I’ve been watching them from the good old non league games. I won’t listen to anyone who says Oxford are rubbish, they were one of the favs for promotion at the begining of the season. All 14 players who played a part at some point were hungrier, more skillfull and far more tactically aware than their opposing player. 2 away games, 6 points, 11 goals, 0 conceded, it doesn’t get better than that.
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!23 December 2017 at 10:46 pm #164469And nobody deserves performances.like that than the superb fans who travel away for most games. Wimbledon last week then Oxford this week just before Christmas is a big ask for fans yet the regulars do it. Well done lads. You are the extra player every away game.

Remember that The Duke (Nathan Ellington for those who don’t know) will be in The Supporters club Bar (free entry now) to answer some questions plus have time with the fans for autographs and photos ect…
FA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that
24 December 2017 at 12:01 am #164471Unbelievable today, just hope the wigan public get off their arses boxing day and get down to the d w. Happy Christmas everyoneThey won’t. But who actually cares? Tge worst thing for me about the FA Cup win was that 23000 people saw it and many more embraced it, when really only about 8000 of us cared. Maybe less.
Until we get points for our crowds, I am happy to see me and my group of mates be the only people there.
The press will talk about our following tomorrow, “wigan win 7-0 but 6 fans travel” but the only fact that matters is 7-0.

Happy Christmas everyoneListening to cook after match interview and there was a mention of fans turning up for the shrews game in bigger numbers than usual so maybe we’ve sold a few more than normal pem?
We normally get bigger crowds on Boxing Day so here’s hoping.
Festive cheer to all -
