Tactically inept ! Simple as that !
9 November 2009 at 1:28 pm #12607:o Are you mad, putting a bloke who has just nearly scored a hat-trick at left back when we are pushing for 3 points is genius.

Soon changed your tune. Give the lad a chance, were you perfect when learning your trade.?
9 November 2009 at 3:11 pm #12619I think he’s got the team playing really good football, well that’s at least the games I’ve seen this season (all the home games). He just needs a couple more quality players to make it really come off.
The quality of football with this team is miles better than some of the dirge served up in past seasons. We’re getting entertaining games these days a la yesterday.

We’re also getting some complete & total pigswill a la Wolves, Blackpool, United, Everton, Arsenal, Hull & Pompey
I make it Pigswill 7 v 6 Good!!
9 November 2009 at 4:00 pm #12621Hang on a second, watching the back four pass the ball between each other 20 times is hardly ‘entertaining’

I did say I’d only seen the home games and bar Wolves and a decent 55 minutes against United, the ones you mention are all away.
The ‘patient’ build up can be a bit frustrating but it’s not as bad as the first couple of games where the back four looked like fish out of water.
I stick by what I say and I think the (home) games have been more entertaining recently. It’s going the right way.

Only left footer on the pitch, he’s played there before, so he was the only choice.
I’m so glad none of you are manager, Jesus wept. :x

Well said Dave.
When Edman went off the game was indeed there for the winning. But it could just have easily been lost. If Edman was goosed then Bob had no other option.
9 November 2009 at 6:03 pm #12638Fulham went to 4-5-1 if 3 defenders can’t cope with a lone striker we have problems.
He should have put nzogbia on the left sinclair on the right and pushed rod up front.9 November 2009 at 6:29 pm #12639To be honest we are playing better than we ever have so for me it is just a plus right there. Also every team needs time to play together and get used to one an other. We have changed are team from last season alot in midfield and brought in quality. For instance Diame. Amazing player can attack and defend, strong on the ball great all round player. Thomas great tackler not bad going foward. There are others. We supply and help the fowards possibly more than ever it is all there a few things need tweaking. A few more players like Tamudo etc. And for the passing around at the back. There needs to be space before you can do anything. We shouldn’t just lamp it down field, we should control the ball be patient and make the away team frustrated or via versa.

Thanks Squire.
That’s right, the game could have gone either way, really. They played a containing game very well. Hodgson is no mug, is he? I’m sure that he will look at the two games either side of their game with Roma, Liverpool at home, and away to us yesterday, and be very pleased with four points. I would be as well. Also, you forget about the squad that Fulham have quietly assembled. It’s pretty good, actually.
That game yesterday was like a game of chess. One mistake from either side and it would have been check-mate. :)

Can I ask why some people on here seem to be so obsessed with Tamudo? Who has actually seen him play and not just based their verdict on him being Espanyol’s record scorer?
