According to WJ he had offers from Crystal Palace and 2 ‘big’ french clubs, but he ‘decided’ to join us and really wants to help us.

I don’t claim to know what’s going on at the club. But if I ask a question and somebody gives me the answer I wouldn’t dismiss it and claim to know the answer is wrong. I wouldn’t have asked the question in the first case if I thought I knew the answer. It’s not a difficult concept to get a brain cell round. You was the one being dismissive therefore negative.

He is looking more and more like a stupid signing. Signed on but not playing. He has 14 matches left. So far we have seen 38 minutes out of his first five games.
I took a draw yesterday selfishly because I couldn’t bare to see us lose against that shower and enjoyed the spectacle as a match but we have got to start going out and playing for wins. Two strikers on yesterday but both of them spent such a lot of time out of the box. 18 shots by Latics yet only one on target.
Losing Yanic may have made the bank manager even happier but by not replacing him it could cost us a place in The Championship.
Will Obertan prove to be a suitable replacement for Yanic?? Who knows if he will or not. It may just be the cautious approach by the manager that is holding him back.
