Seriously though, I’d sooner we did that and lost 3-2 than set up for a draw again and lose 1-0 to another fluke goal/poor ref decision/unlucky bounce….(Yootha to delete as he sees fit)
I’m expecting a very direct approach today from Wigan – until Thursday Lunchtime, they were approaching the game thinking that it would take place in a mudbath.
That said, If we don’t win, prepare yourself for the excuse that “we based our tactics all week to play on a quagmire, and it wasn’t, which hindered our style”
It’s been raining a lot this morning in Leyland (still is..) so if it’s been like that at the ground we can expect a quagmire, thugby or not.
