Whilst I don’t think the boys on the park played badly, especially in the first half, MOM was with out a doubt DRUMMER BOY.
If the team play better with good support, then I’d hate to think what the score would have been without yesterdays support. We scored that goal of the season.
Apart from Blackpool away last season, 90 songs in 90 minutes, yesterday must have been the BEST support WAFC has experienced in the 8 years I’ve been watching them. What a crackin’ atmosphere by US fans. Well done to the choir and the drummer boy!!
On the pitch … looking better all the time, away at least. Just feed Jordi when he is sitting in wide open space, then the job is done!
May require a long or forward pass and the law according to Bobby does not permit that Rich!Donny, I don’t think you went to the game; bet you went looking for that otter on the river Yarrow. As for long passes Jordan Flores made a few superb long range pin point passes. All in all a tough game with the pretend Latics being fairly physical and giving it their all for the new Manager. Had Flores not got sent off I think we would have scraped it; so a point wasn’t too bad in the circumstances ( and given that we only have one fit striker out of six ).
