Just noticed that Chelski had given him a four year extension to his contract a couple of months ago. Seems they must be grooming him for the left back position when Cole starts slowing down. :think:

i’ve never heard of him, seen him play or know anything about him, but i think he is the most important signing we have made in a long time.
if he provides cover, competition and maybe a replacement for figueroa, he’ll do for me as i have never seen a player go backwards (in terms of progress) as far as he has since that first season he played for us -this may now get him back to that player.
Aye, driving home listening to the talk about Maloney i was hoping we’d go for a left-back. So, it’s a great signing – potentially anyway, because like you, I’ve never seen him play.

Perhaps Figs could move into a more central roll coz that’s where he fcukin ends up most of the time anyway !! An half decent right sided opposing player will have a field day with Figs when he goes walkabout !!
Seen him play a few times last season seen his goal against Newcastle aswell. Looks strong, good touch, quite quick. Just needs the games and confidence. Watched him in the Asian trophy aswell pre-season. Sorry if ive seen him a few more times than you Griff and you Mr Lowe… Am i not allowed to say i rate him? :roll:
