Looked OK to me. Wigan certainly put plenty sh*t on it.

Life would be pretty dull without one.

14 July 2017 at 4:55 pm #160438I was going to chirp in, but then thought it’s clucking pointless.
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!14 July 2017 at 7:02 pm #160439Thanks Donny, although a few people do say I’m a c0ck because of it.
15 July 2017 at 3:12 am #160443As I watched the game tonight, I saw the pitch cutting up as players turned. Not good.
It looked quite loose under players feet…worrying that for a July pitch. Hardly good for good passing football.
15 July 2017 at 1:38 pm #160452The pitch has been prepared to the standard of player we have at the club. Good passing football isn’t the way in League One.

I doubt Paul Cook would agree.

Good passing football isn’t the way in League One.You can prepare the pitch to whatever standard you want but when you get a couple of dozen roid heads rolling about on it all the hard work goes out the window.
18 July 2017 at 5:06 pm #160487In defense of the goons (this will hurt) other pitches that share look pretty good and the pitch is always good at the end of there season. Id still make them homeless the first chance i got though
18 July 2017 at 11:42 pm #160489Usually by the end of July, the DW pitch is pretty pristine. Which lends itself to the possibility that the stadium owner, no longer having his pockets swelled by Greed League parachute payments, has opted for a cheaper re-laying process this time around.
If that is the case, and the pitch is a cheap one, get yourselves a neck brace for the winter months as there wont be much slick on-the deck passing.
22 July 2017 at 12:15 am #160559God help the pitch tonight. Two herd of cattle wouldn’t plough it up as bad.
22 July 2017 at 2:01 am #160560Today’s the deadline for own seat renewals…2hours to go :woohoo:
Anyone heard how sales are going? Bound to be down on last season, but by how much?
