Not lucky enough to have been today, but just saw the extended highlights on football first, and I have to say how poor our display was today, we were out of sorts and looked jaded, our passing was not upto its usual standard.
And I couldn’t be happier, I am sick of playing well this season and not getting what we deserve.
Keep it up lads another poor showing on tuesday and 3 points please.
They always say ” sign of a good team is when they win when playing badly ” my memory isn’t great 2 many rum/cokes but how many times have we played bad this season? not many?
We were hanging on at the end, giving the ball away far too easily and survived two pretty nailed-on penalty shouts. It was nail-biting, nerve-rackingly good stuff.
Alan Hanson just said on MOTD they’ve played well last four matches and got nothing today played poorly on got three points

Your right I watched football first and apart from Trevor Francis who bloody hates us anyway the commentator was of a more fair opinion
Who gives a shit, what do you want, being told how well you have played and losing, or pundits saying we didn’t play well and taking 3 points.
We were fantastic against city and played them off the park, better team against both west ham and spurs and got a total of one point ?????
We didn’t play well today and the defence was all over the place at times, but got 3 points.
Stop being so damn touchy because pundits don’t say what you want to hear.

I would take them games every week how many times have we said played well but and for nailed on pens my arse
.Yes it wasnt the best but we scored three good goals and had the character to beat a side who have a good record on their own ground.
I said today as I was watching the tv for updates that if we win today we will stay up and I now feel we will.We weren’t spectacular for sure, we didn’t create anything other than the 3 goals and we were very poor at the back. Expected with the makeshift back line.
But putting your chances away is certainly the most important part of any performance and we did that today.
Right now I don’t care how they play, as long as they win. Gotta do something about these sloppy goals. That’s 4 soft goals in two games now.
completley agree ross, defense needs be steady, we also need stop pissin about with ball at back , but it results that matter and need beat swansea on tuesday

I get what you are saying but as we have shown in the past if you keep up the good performances the results will come.
Obviously they come a lot later than any of us care for but the best thing about Martinez’s teams for me is we never look completely lost for ideas against anyone winning or losing.

points only that matter, agreed we’ve played well in many a game, switched off and conceded (arsenal) or failed to capitalise on position / put the ball in the net (city)
three excellent goals saturday (more of the same required); a little more rigour in defence (Alcaraz back ?)
what is without question … the will not to conceded / keep going and remain cool under the upmost pressure.
A win against swansea (no mean feat), and we’re in for the mother of all climaxes to a EPL season.
