I know there’s good and bad but this guy should not be doing any league games.
Thought-out the game ref Ross Martin was waiting for a crowd reaction before blowing for a foul and if it got super loud, a yellow or a red.
You could clearly see Costelloe was leaning back about a foot trying to hook it back over his head and the player comes flying bent low from Costelloe’s blind side so what are footballers meant to do ? Not go for waist height ball?.
There was no intension and the cheat John made an absolute meal of it which again is disgusting trying to justify the red, just get up, the reds been given, the nobhead
Ref stats:-
Ross Martin has dished out a staggering 33 cards in 6 games. In two back to back games he handed out 16 cards yes 16 !. This averages over his last 6 games at 5.5 cards per game and unbelievable amount of cards.
I’m sorry but those stats clearly show he’s over reffing. There were tackles that required yellows and pull backs that went unpunished and yellows incorrectly handed out.
This guy should not be running any L2-L1 games infact, if he ran Sunday Ami level there’d be no one on the pitch for the 2nd half.
Appalling and if we don’t appeal and win the red the games bent.

How can it be reckless when you put a foot up and there’s no one in your view and a player comes flying in low with his head.

Oh and the Wycombe player who made a complaint to the ref about abusive language?, I got told from someone who was near the incident that the player doesn’t like been called a vvanker

The shite refs are the biggest thing thats putting me off football at the moment.
If I stopped going, that would be the reason. The way he whipped the red out really fast.. was absolutely no common sense at all. I could have understood a yellow and a stern talking to. But even so, what is a player supposed to do? If he had kicked the ball and it had flown into the top corner, everyone would have said “what a goal!”
Football being too interfered with by woke shite. Even the Liverpool game yesterday, Gakpo scored for Liverpool and there was a slight doubt if it was inside or not. The delay was very brief really, compared to many others that have happened. But the bloody crowd waited to cheer until it was confirmed as a goal. That was weird, and it shows are people are playing along with it. Load of bollocks.
I struggle with the Prem, every goals examined to try and find a reason not to give it. You’ve 3 to 4 guys looking at it in slow mo then go
“Your call ref” so what was the point. It’s easier for a Ref not to give it than give it.
Those decisions made by Ross Martin at Latics beggared belief. The one on the edge of the box were he waited 4-5 seconds then blew but the linesman who was just as close kept his flag down.
Footballs gone down hill it’s gone super quick. Woke cup cake candy floss football. Watch a game and most ref’s have their whistle in the mouths ready.
I’m like you I’m struggling with the state of the game. That ref spoiled the game, I get we won but with 10 men it could have easily been the reason why we lost

I can tell you this, if we start getting games stopped for swearing and bannings come in that’s me done.
