There are none…
15 April 2010 at 1:58 am #29556It was a point
15 April 2010 at 1:59 am #29557Still looking for them????????1) It didnt rain
2) Scotland picked up a yellow card, therefore one step closer to a one match ban. Lets hope he can reach 5 in the next game.
3) Bobby wore his special tie for his favourites
4) Its clear judging by Graham Jones reaction in laughing and shaking his head when Martinez told him to put Moses on (when Martinez turned back to the pitch) that he has clealry lost the back room staff, as well as fans and players. Just a matter of time now.
15 April 2010 at 2:00 am #29559A point against the worst team in the league, in fact the worst team in the leagues reserves!!
15 April 2010 at 2:01 am #29560Our goal difference hasn’t got any worse
15 April 2010 at 2:10 am #29569– Clean sheet
– 5 points clear
– Just 1 point vs Hull should see us pip them to 17th on 33 points and GD (provided we don’t lose by more than 1 goal in our other games)
– Gohouri looked solid
– Scharner won’t start again
– Arsenal’s title bid is all but gone so there is a ray of light for us on Sunday
– Chelsea should have the title wrapped up before we go there, and with their players thinking about the FA and World Cups that should mean we can scrape a bonus point at the Bridge!15 April 2010 at 2:28 am #29590So do you not think that Arsenal will put 4 plus past us !! We will have the worst goal difference come Sunday afternoon !
15 April 2010 at 2:30 am #29593Arsenal still have second to play for and automatic qualification for the CL.
15 April 2010 at 2:37 am #29596The thread’s asking for positives…I know I’m scraping the barrell, but, hey, its better than being miserable and pessimistic.
Am banking on Arsenal suffering a loss of heart at being out of the title race and in reality only having 3rd to play for…and us being relatively tight defensively at home.
15 April 2010 at 2:46 am #29606What a pile of feckin $h!te that was.
No tempo, no spark, no creativity, no passion, no movement & a manager stood on the touchline pullin pwebs out of his ball bags coz he hasn’t got a mutha f00kin clue how to change things round or add a sense of urgency to his team’s performance
Personally I’m sick to the back freakin teeth of people makin excuses for Bobby’s failings. His signings are (on the whole) poor, his tactics are poor, his formations are poor & his plan B is non-existant. Sacking him now won’t make a damn bit of difference but if, due to the even worse ineptitude of other teams/managers Latics manage to stay up I think next season (with Bobby still at the helm & minus Rodallega, N’Zogbia & Figueroa) is going to be even worse
The manager & players ought to be ashamed that in 2 games (including tonight against their reserve/youth team) against a team that has conceded an average of 1.8 goals a game Latics have managed to score precisely zip/nowt/jack sheet
PS – Yes I’ve had a few beers tonight!!!

15 April 2010 at 11:55 am #29648– Arsenal’s title bid is all but gone so there is a ray of light for us on Sunday
just like Pompey had nothing to play for…
15 April 2010 at 2:20 pm #29669Our next game is against one of the BIG teams and is live on the telly.
Which does seem to make a difference to some of our players.
