the east stand was so incensed at a bit of poor play by Powell that he gave him a tirade of abuse that Powell reacted to with a few gestures.
Fast forward a few minutes and an angry and fired up Powell went on to win a dangerous free kick and then hit one of the best free kicks I have seen down there for a long while.He showed passion and heart and it makes you wonder whether it was a turning point for him. .
Would he have done all that without that spat with the supporter ?Yes, because, for once, Powell had it on him and was fired up from the second he came on. So no, the supporter takes no credit whatsoever.
Fair play to him, though. I’m impressed an Eaststander had even managed to get himself sat facing the pitch. Not so bright, folk over that side

Hold your horses. I’ve never said I’m.not going anymore. I said I was considering giving the next 3 games a miss, due to getting so irate last weekend.

Except Wigan where he got sacked. I doubt Barrow will take it anyway.
We need someone who knows League One and how to get out of it, whilst bringing through youth.Nigel Adkins would be an ideal appointment.
I used to think the same Pie but speaking to a couple of Sheff Utd fans they didn’t rate him at all.
He’d drop a player from the team who had a good game the previous week. Adam….you’ve just actually confirmed what I did actually say. I said about missing the last 3 games.
I never said I was stopping going. This is what I don’t understand. I’ve been going since 86…probably a lot longer than a lot of people on here. Why would I stop going totally?

Nobody has not even young sharpie. To be fair to the lad he has (quite rightly) held his hands up to a lot of mistakes made.

I know marrer I really don’t see him taking it and risking the tin tack in a few months coz he probably has a job for life doing what he does normally. Would you take it knowing the bullet is never far away in recent times. I just think. Jones is another risk one the club can ill afford. That’s why I hope it goes to someone who has been a success in the lower reaches and who has the knack.
I’ve heard a rumour that a certain Yorkshire man is leaving his current post at the seasons end and may be on his way back up north……
