9 February 2010 at 7:17 pm #22105Like that line up  Let’s just go for it and play more direct to two guys up top. As I’ve mentioned previously, our pitch isn’t going to help our passing game
9 February 2010 at 7:24 pm #22106I would like to see area 51s team as I think it’s our strongest yet I can’t help but think scharner will start to give us more height to cope with stokes long ball tactics and give us abit more physicality.

No I don’t like Fig before you ask!! At fault for goals in last 3 games YET AGAIN!!!
He can not defend / mark. Useless!!!
Before you start, just watch his marking again tonight.
9 February 2010 at 9:00 pm #22113there is an article on Newsnow that rates Fig as best left back in Prem after Cole and Evra
9 February 2010 at 9:12 pm #22114Hmmmm, newsnow eh?? Says everything really!!
I stand by everything I say about him, and i’d love to know how many goals he’s been responsible for this season due to his lack of positional awareness.
I’ll report back here after the seasons highlights dvd comes out and i’ve studied it!!
I’ll guess at 15 goals.
10 February 2010 at 1:26 am #22142And tonight Ladies and Gents was goal number 16 courtesy of yet another cross from the left hand side due to our friend Mr Figueora not being able to pick up his man and cut out a cross!!
I rest my case!!!!
We actually have the makings of a decent Premier League team, unfortunately the Swansea old boys keep getting the nod, and we don’t have a left back.

Correct me if i’m wrong but how can it be a cross from the left side if the Fig is left back
10 February 2010 at 3:36 am #22176aye, i was thinking that.
good job this mons not our manager eh.
10 February 2010 at 8:09 pm #22339Well smart arses if you was there last night, which I presume you were, you will know exactly what I meant.
You set of pedantic know-it-alls!!
Tell me i’m incorrect about our “left back”. He simply can’t defend, end of story.
I expect better from you Arky ;)

Get off your high horse laddy :D
10 February 2010 at 9:32 pm #22360I do apologise fella, he just really winds me up. If you hadn’t already noticed!!
Just wish we’d have taken whatever Sunderland had offered and gone for Nicky Shorey.
Ok, he can’t score from his own half but he can defend. -
