9 May 2013 at 5:22 pm #112938He certainly didn’t say he was going to Everton when I spoke with him yesterday.

If he takes the Everton job he’s got a serious rebuilding job to do there with quite a few hitting the 30 odd barrier.
He won’t be given time , it will have to be like instant coffee were-as with us he’ll have a 1/2 decent Championship kitty and a Chairman who’ll back him to the hilt.
It’s the old saying grass greener ………………..all that crap.9 May 2013 at 6:45 pm #112953Anonymous
I think Martinez will go this summer, probably to Everton, but not entirely convinced he WILL end up there. Seems more than likely though.
Graeme Jones to rebuild us in the Championship, I reckon. With Barrow as his number two.
9 May 2013 at 8:59 pm #112975He won’t go.
But to answer the question anyway, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
9 May 2013 at 10:54 pm #112994Ole is a good shout. But seriously I would like Jones to stay and continue the good work in place on and off the field.
After snooping around around a couple of Everton message boards today they actually seem to be quite understanding of the fact if Roberto takes over then the first season may be quite hard while he rebuilds the squad and imprints his philosophy
Shame our fans were not as understanding in his first season.
But they do say you only realise how much you miss something once its gone :(

10 May 2013 at 12:06 am #113001your star falls if you get relegated so at the moment although I’d say he’s staying.
that said if the club produces another Houdini act he would probably have. Few clubs knocking at the door.10 May 2013 at 12:55 am #113005Anonymous

10 May 2013 at 3:03 am #113029We need someone who would take the spotlight off DW when he starts mouthing off about whatever is on his mind. Someone in touch with modern thinking both on and off the field, someone who has managed at the highest level and is able to build bridges in the multi cultural world of football.
Ron Atkinson

10 May 2013 at 3:21 am #113032If we ignore the Preston links, David Moyes could be out of a job within 6 months…
10 May 2013 at 6:06 am #113036Is Everton really a big step up for Bobby though? If we get relegated, maybe. But, Moyes hasn’t been backed with finances at Everton – & without Moyes, I can see Everton in a relegation scrap next year. Would Bobby really want to go from one club always in that battle to another one that seems likely to be?
Gotta figure that Moyes takes at least one, maybe two of Everton’s better players with him (maybe Baines finally makes the move to Utd?). Also that they lose Fellaini. Probably only get whatever funds they generate to go get replacements. Is that really attractive?
It’s too bad. If We can somehow manage to stay up, I could see Everton getting relegated next year – & if we would then stay up again, that could be the beginning of picking up more fans with Everton, Blackburn and Bolton all in the championship.
