It’s not great on my phone, a lot of the screen is taken up.
On my PC, the page is extremely narrow, it only occupies about 1/3 of the screen.
It’s virtually the same width as the previous version (1020px) and as stated earlier when you view on your smartphone you initially get the mobile version so switch to desktop if that’s your preference.
I don’t know how you can be bothered pissing around trying to view it on a phone ! Digressing, I have an issue with the site on my laptop, it is really slow to load pages since it changed over ?

On my screen it appears very narrow, and in my mind’s eye at least seems much narrower than the previous version.

Laptop? How old school are you? ;)
Most of my reading/posting done while commuting, in bed or on the bog, none of which lends itself to a bigger machine!It’s fine on my iphone. For all you technophobes what you should be seeing is the mobile version of the site.There is an icon at the top to allow you to view the desktop site.

Go to the settings tab (next to the favourites star in the top right) and click the zoom to 100% or more, it looks like you are on around 67% in that picture
