Why do you sing ‘we live in mudhuts?’Because we come from Wigan* and we live in ’em.
Why else?* I actually live in Chorley and I dream of living in a Mudhut. This gutter is just not adequate for a family of four.
I thought it was something to do with Southerners being up their own bottoms, thinking we still have a bloke that goes round lighting the lamp posts and cobbled roads etc. So it’s a bit of a self urine take on what they think of us.
