Your possession and passage of play is fairly good but without an end product it all pales into insignificance !! Ya don’t fuckin say !! “I sit through that superior possession every other week ” I replied !! ” It actually once paid off 7 months ago” I reluctantly said in a vain attempt at bigging up my team !!

Yes, there are lots of strikers out there for under ten million, but they don’t want to sign for Wigan now that they’re not offering the £40k a week type of salary that attracted Heskey.
I was away yesterday for the silence remark ! Now what do I think we should have done you say ? Well in the light of our distinct lack of fire-power I would have made it the No.1 priority to try and get someone in during January whether it be a loan player or a relatively cheap purchase, just someone who can score goals ! Who were the 2 who turned us down ? Is there conclusive proof of this ? I don’t know what was going on but I would have made a concerted effort either way ! Did the club really actually approach or try to sign any strikers ? It doesn’t matter what I say, I will just be ridiculed as a Darksider moaning but if we do survive we will then be left with a striker less and what difference will it make in the Summer if we couldn’t get or tempt any strikers in January !!
