Why loudmouthblue and loudmouthblue 2 what’s going on fella ?
Nothing sinister, I don’t know if you have noticed or not but there are issues with registering or retrieving forgotten passwords on this board at the moment.
I bought a new laptop and could not remember my original ‘loudmouth’ password so jayt looked this one up from when the old server crashed(loudmouthblue2) which allows me access on here, if I post on my original a/c I am on my iphone, which has my username/old password saved in its memory and keeps me signed in.
ta very glad that clears that up then
No problem
That’s what you think!

28 January 2014 at 12:17 am #126461Some of you lot wouldn’t recognise a good football player if your life depended on it.
So what few years of medical treatment would that be JR, seeing as he only joined the club at the start of the 2012/13 season? And I suppose it was very remiss of him to damage his cruciate ligament playing for Wigan Athletic and then expect the club to pay for his recovery. That then makes him much less a prolific starter than the sick note known as Rogne?
A class player who I am sorry to see leave, if in fact he has left, and so bad he’s attracting the interest of at least two Premiership clubs. If he and Alcaraz, or just one of them, had stayed fit last season we would not have been relegated.
Not one of RMs better buys my arse.
2 EPL clubs … Palace, Cardiff ….precisely ! (one or other / both Championship again next season). Palace first 11 (practically) put to bed yesterday.
Whereas McCarthy, Kone, Robles, Valencia etc. go top 6-8 team. Even Diame went to a club with a little more expectation of avoiding the annual relegation scrap
If he’s so feckin good, then …. (explain please)
Even West Spam – the only team he ever turned up against / and short on defenders appear to show no interest …
PS
Picture in the paper (internet) had me p@ssing myself yesterday – quote ‘Ramis getting stuck in’ .. it was actually, the photo capturing Ramis ill-timed tackle on Hazard in first EPL game, resulting in penalty (7 minutes played: Latics 0 (Ramis -2) Chelsea 2 ..
As someone recently said ‘lazy journalism …’
Some of you lot wouldn’t recognise a good football player if your life depended on it. Thank you for the confirmation.

To eb fair, three of those went to a top 6 side because their ex-manager took them there.Ramis isn’t the quickest CB at the club – and that’s what most of his detractors (yourself included) pick up on, but personally I think he’s a classy player, whose injuries have probably restricted the number of clubs interested in him.
SW
We’ll always disagree on Ramis (memories of last season – LHS, RHS etc.. as we all know football’s game of opinions.
As regards the three who went to Everton, let’s not forget there’s no reason why RM couldn’t come back for Ivan if he were so good (Heitinga, after all, may be on his way out …) Alcaraz also hasn’t been without his injuries (injured now ??). Unfortunately, last year to our detriment …
Let’s not forget not also Palacios (Spurs, Stoke) and Rodallega (Fulham) who went to decent (top 10) teams (re. comment above …. 2 EPL teams (this year YES, next year ???)
Re. Centre Backs – one I do like – Barnett – committed, decent, rarely has an off day / drops an obvious b@llock; one of OC’s better buys (600k, VFM …)
I’d hazard a guess that Martinez didn’t come back for Ramis because he was/is still crocked. And maybe he rated Alcaraz more and didn’t have the budget for both of them.Regarding Coyle’s signings: I agree Barnett has been a very good signing, as has Perch (getting much better, when played in rightful position … on rhs.)
McCann has improved dramatically over recent months, and I rate him now.McClean, although he had a good game on Saturday, still needs to sort his final ball out and improve his decision-making – i.e. pass when it makes sense to (last minute miss versus Palace; put on a plate for Powell to kill the game 3-1)
Carson, Crainey and Fortune serve a purpose.
Powell has been a great loan signing.
Holt. Thank fook he’s left.
So, on reflection, Coyle’s signings aren’t all that bad. In fact, the only real flop has been Holt, who, based on his record, few could have predicted.
Cheers – great minds think alike !
30 January 2014 at 9:56 pm #126565sad to see the back of him , prolific player, 17 games

See, this is part of my stance on opinions on this message board. First off, everyone is entitled to have one, that is a given.
Now, in my opinion, C3P0 here usually talks a lot of sense. Therefore, when he says he doesn’t rate Ramis, I might raise my eyebrows a little (becasue I am with you, I think the lad is a classy defender) but I wouldn’t launch into him just because we disagree.
Others, however, talk so much shite on such a regular basis that they practically ask to be launched into. They shouldn’t be allowed a keyboard, let alone an opinion.
31 January 2014 at 3:56 pm #126588Ramis is a decent defender but I wouldn’t use the word ‘Classy’ ! Maldini would warrant the word ‘Classy’ being attached to him but not Ramis ! Just sayin !
31 January 2014 at 4:49 pm #126592Ramis is a decent defender but I wouldn’t use the word ‘Classy’ ! Maldini would warrant the word ‘Classy’ being attached to him but not Ramis ! Just sayin !Agreed, it’s all relative. Ramis is nowhere near the level of a Maldini but is probably streets ahead of the likes of Caldwell and that lad Rogne – is he still here, btw?
I used ‘classy’ more to describe his style of play, rather than his quality. I rate Barnett as a centre-back but I’d describe him more as agricultural than classy.
31 January 2014 at 6:20 pm #126601Just a point.
If you “ooze” class, doesn’t that mean it’s leaking away?
31 January 2014 at 6:24 pm #126602I hope that Ramis will demonstrate that he is fit to play.
Perhaps he needs a few more games after his operation.
