We need to have a reality check here we all wanted prem football, but did we all really expect to be finishing top 8-10tenth every year! no.
Did anybody expect us to stay in prem for more than one season! no.
I personaly want us to stay in division but if we do go down so be it we will carry on supporting the latics like we did when we had 1400 on at springy.
Keep the faith.

We are not dead & buried yet. I think 38 points is enough for survival, so 3 wins & 4 draws will do.
Keep the faith

You almost sound like a Liverpool fan. “Weve won the title 17 times now, so the future doesn’t matter”
Yes we have done brilliantly, which for me is all the more reason it will be difficult to see all the hard work done to get us here and keep us here undone by a clueless halfwit.
The difficult thing though, there is no excuse for it. If we were relegated after giving it our best shot and the team were shown not be good enough, then fair play.
But the team is good enough, but all players are played out of position, we play a weakling up front on his own and keep new signings on the bench.
We make substitutions that are comical. We have Graham Barrow coaching Premiership players. We see fit to let Ben Watson go, but yet think Jordi Gomez can cut it?
If we go down it will not be with Martinez, it will be due to Martinez.28 February 2010 at 5:02 pm #24711Can anyone actually see where we are going to get 3 wins and 4 draw from the way we are playing I cant see us beating anyone. Especially teams who will be fighting to stay up

So that’ll be just the three wins and just the four draws. Last time I checked, you didn’t need goals to get a draw but you need at least one for a win.
That’s that plan scuppered then.

Might be the case, but if you study all the remaining fixtures; where are Burnley & Wolves gonna pick up 3 wins and 4 draws ?

28 February 2010 at 8:51 pm #24730Our Guy has more or less said, that he is impressed with the amount of corners we forced away from home.We didn’t score or win. Have they changed the rules? Oh my, I think I may come out of this nasty dream one day!!!!!!

28 February 2010 at 9:00 pm #24737We seem very short of ideas up front, I hope from Martinez’s actions in the second half he is seeing the light.
