Wiki suggests that she was 13/14 when Paradise was released, as was I! Now, it is a little bit weird (rivalled only by watching ‘Two of a Kind’ in blissful ignorance?). Although, she turned into a bit of a slag by the looks of things:

Yeah it does look that way. But at 12 (I believe the song was done at 12 and released at that age)…She is innocent and a very good looking girl :P

You might already have heard of her, but Joanne Newsom is a good female vocalist. Although it is an acquired taste and her bloody harp can be annoying after a while.
Yes! She is quite fantastic. I find that I have to read the lyrics to her songs as I listen to her, otherwise I cannot understand a word that she is saying (a friend of mine compared her to Lisa Simpson, which is bang on) but it’s all soothing and whatnot, like classical music. I’ve got ‘Have One On Me’ and it’s a very good album. She was on Jools Holland the other week too (and she’s quite fit, hoorah!).[/quote]
Think that’s her new album, I haven’t got round to having a listen to that yet. That ‘Yyys’ or whatever it is called is quite tremendous for me. There’s a load of good folky/indie artists out there at the moment. Yes, she is quite fit n all. Maybe too old for James’ taste though.
