JUST A POINT,THE WANKER TODAY ALLOWED PENNANT TO STAY ON PITCH AFTER KICKING OUT,BOOKED HUTH IN 1ST HALF THEN GAVE HIM 3 WARNINGS AND EVEN STARTED TO PULL CARD OUT AND PUT IT BACK………………………………………………………………………………..THE SAME REF WHO ALLOWED ROONEY TO ASSAULT McCARTHY :woohoo:
31 March 2012 at 11:51 pm #84412Not the best Ref IMO but certainly not the worst display I’ve seen at the DW, and we won :woohoo:

A couple of mistakes but be fair to the poor guy. He had a ridiculously hard job with the amount of fouls and dives (remember the free kick that led to our first goal) that took place from both teams. I’ve seen far too many bad refs to class this display as poor. If you want to look at things from a neutral perspective Beausejour could easily have been sent off for his part in the Beausejour/Pennant spat that lingered throughout the first half. I’m much more concerned about the referee bias we are sure to encounter in our next three games
1 April 2012 at 1:28 pm #84452He was awful, tried his best for Stoke but luckily we are finding the net at the moment and so it didn’t matter.
We really need the rub of the green for the next 7 games…
FA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that
1 April 2012 at 1:37 pm #84453Linesman had a shakey period as well.
Was funny when he gave the throw in to figs who was that confused as to why he tried taking a freekick.
1 April 2012 at 1:46 pm #84455They’re all prone to mistakes, and big team bias, it’s human nature to weigh up how much shit you’ll get off the back of a decision, and generally they’d get more if they gave decisions against utd and Liverpool as say Wigan and Blackburn.
Got to say, that much the same as goalkeepers, it’s only the howlers that get attention drawn to them, the bread and butter stuff doesn’t generally get the credit, but a mistake is usually critical in the outcome of the game, they’re only human, and I wouldn’t do that job for a gold clock, so fair play to them, if you haven’t had a go yourself and seen just how difficult it is, then it’s wrong to slag them off when they get something wrong, I’d find it hard to make a split second decision one way or the other after running 6 mile with 70000 people watching me and being filmed too, it’s a lot to deal with!1 April 2012 at 2:23 pm #84457Anonymous
Never mind the rest of what you said John, you can stick the running 6 miles! :P
1 April 2012 at 3:54 pm #84466I think that over the whole 90 it’s nearer 12 miles!! Half a marathon twice a week, and every mistake is jumped on like you killed somebody, like I said, wouldn’t do that job for a gold clock!

Yes, another great article by the beeb that asks a question, gives us some irrelevant facts, tells us that these facts are irrelevant and then goes onto say that the only way to prove this argument is to conduct some research which, yes you guessed it, they can’t be bothered to do themselves. I wish I was a journalist sometimes!
