So far this season, he’s shown 114 yellow cards and six red in 33 matches.The Nottinghamshire-based official took charge of Newcastle United’s home defeat to Blackburn in November and their Emirates FA Cup loss at Oxford in January. He also refereed in Latics losses at Sheff Wed in September, at Rotherham on Boxing Day, At Fulham in February and at the DW Stadium against Reading in November.
So he is at least going to see one or both teams not lose on Saturday.
