Zoe Halliwell passed away today, having fallen ill over the weekend on a trip to London. I didn’t know the lady personally, but because of her few moments of fame on TV when the camera zoomed in on her at the Chelsea game wearing the “turkey hat” she took Latics festive fancy dress to a new level.
The loss of any of the Latics family is a sad occasion, but particularly someone who has been so obviously dedicated to making youngsters lives better – a teacher of many years at Montrose School and a keen member of the Scouting movement. And a fanatic Latic fan.
RIP Zoe.
My missus was in London this weekend to see The Jersey boys and a lady fell ill who was on the same trip. It may have been this lady.
Is this is the lady in question?
RIP Zoe, you will be sadly missed.
