Says he’s going to take Everton into the Champions League :woohoo: I hope that plan works better than his 3 then 4 year plan for us as I’m sure his next level was not supposed to be The Championship

But you carry on making shit up if it makes you feel better.
On Wednesday, Everton chairman Bill Kenwright revealed Martinez had promised to qualify Everton for the group stages of the Champions League.
But the ex-Swansea boss said: “I am not saying it is a realistic target, it has to be the dream.
“We should be fighting to one day be in the Champions League spots.
“We cannot expect that to be a target straight away, that is not the league we are in.”

6 June 2013 at 4:17 pm #115535They continue to shed tears for their beloved Spanish Prince.
In his final premier league season, the culmination of his faith in Caldwell, injury selection problems and insistence on all the passing in the world ended in the disaster of relegation. He also steered them to an FA Cup success. Which is as brilliant as relegation is devastating. Kind of cancels each other out.
Good luck to him. He is gone.
The bobby happy clappers still can’t take it. They still dream of their little prince, looking through romantic tearry eyes, still asking why. For some folk on here it will feel like their first girlfriend has dumped them. And gone out with an older boy from school. Still standing up for her when people say to them as they dry their eyes “she used you as a stepping stone, to move on, there are other fish in the sea”, to be met with “but I love bobby, it’s not fair……”
Dry your eyes. He has gone. Time to move on.

Oh Stuart, you really are a fascinating case.
You have deluded yourself into thinking that because people have supported Martinez during his time at the club, they must have personal affection for the man and will pine for him to return.
In reality, those same people who supported him will support the next manager just as vehemently, and it will more than likely be those who have been forever on Martinez’s back who will be first to react badly towards the new manager if all does not go well.
Yours was an interesting post nonetheless, and I might print it off and show it to my boss.
