“We are working to try to finalise another couple of deals, but the priority was Albert.
“He is the one we wanted the most and it’s great to get it done well before the deadline.
“I would say we definitely need one more player – that is the minimum we are looking for.
“If we could then get another, then that would be a bonus.
“But I was very impressed with the reserves at Aston Villa on Monday, and there are a couple of young players who are ready to make a bigger role than we might have expected.”

Young Tim Chow is 1 who could come through this year. Hes the cousin of my mate at work and hes been told he will get a chance, looks a good prospect. :)

31 August 2011 at 5:41 pm #70890Quite funny where you look over the youth team players
http://www.wiganlatics.co.uk/page/Youth … 64,00.html
All from the local area then…
Abubakar Sheego from Somalia
Cant imagine which one of our scouts got on a wrong plane and ended up in Somalia, and the only way to bail himself out was to take one of their youth players on loan.

Chow is from St Helens but they put him down as being from Wigan because they said it would go down better with the supporters.
