“We just need to be scoring goals,” the German said. “After a game like that, I don’t look at the table.”- Well I suggest you take a good long hard look at it mate because it is getting critical!

“The players can have an arm around their shoulder but when they cross the white line it’s down to them. We paid good money for them and we expect goals.” – Well fucking play them then on a regular basis and together!

“We had the majority of the possession but need a little more quality in the final third.” – A word of advice, try being a little more attack minded!

Very good post but wait till Friday and it will be all change again. Ridiculous even verging on comical except we aren’t laughing anymore.
OK Martinez was boring and Coyle was Coyle ( all be it a better record by far than Uwe this season) but this chaps rotation policy is just ludicrous. Just wonder what Dave Whelan makes of it all.

Im getting a little tired of Rosler constantly insinuating that it is down to the players after a poor performance.

Well it is them that play. I always doubt that a Manager tells players to constantly give the ball away and miss guilt edge chances.

Egg, as quoted “we paid good money and expect goals” well he is also costing a lot of money so we as fans should also expect he does his job as well. He always tries to deflect the blame from himself in his interviews and instead of taking responsibility he finds it easier to swerve the real problem, himself. Like fil posted.

Well what would you rather he said then?

“Im off”  no seriously I want to hear him say how he is trying to turn it round and to acknowledge that it is not just down to the lads and just give us a little hope. If he wants more goals from the strikers then he must set the side up to give them the best chance of scoring. Don’t make it public that he thinks they ain’t cutting it especially when his rotation policy is making the problem harder to iron out.

If strikers are not match sharp because they are in and out of the side then they will miss chances I’m afraid Egg.

Now saying the team gave up.
Smacks of desperation to me, trying to deflect the blame.

Then he said “I am not blaming the players, I take full responsibility”. But don’t let the facts get in the way, eh?

Then he was asked what else he could do and he answered “I don’t know”, which is a bit worrying, granted.

That’s the bit that worried me too.

He also said in that same interview, “We just folded altogether. And for that I have no understanding whatsoever.”

No doubt he was angry, upset and frustrated but hardly the words of someone who believes he is in command of the situation in which he finds himself.

Interestingly both the above comments are no longer included in the post match
              interview I saw.
