Wigan are once again being linked with a move for Espanyol striker Jose Callejon, who could cost around £4.5million this summer.
Latics were linked with the 23-year-old, who can also play in midfield, in January and now reports in Spain suggest Roberto Martinez could make a move during the summer transfer window.
Callejon started his career at Real Madrid, coming through the youth ranks at the Bernabeu, and was the top scorer in the Spanish second division in 2007-08.
Reports suggest the forward, who is a Spanish Under-21 international, is said to be keen on a move to the Premier League.
With a record like that, how the hell is he a Spanish U21 international? I’d have thought the Spanish league would have been full of decent young strikers.
