How I would have loved Captain Caldwell to slap him all round the Emirates, his reaction to losing last night was a disgrace.
If you look at newspaper comments from around the country you’ll see that he and Whinger have lost what little credibility they had as a result of this. “Bad losers” is the common comment. Even SAF was more dignified in defeat.
His refusal to properly shake his hand at the end was superb. Caldwell just kept on pushing it and winding him up. Brilliant.

‘Barry Chuckle’ has been one of the outstanding performers for at least the latter half of the season.
What he lacks in pace he makes up for in commitment and leadership.
Player of the season for me.
He’s been superb recently there’s no doubt about that. Still think it has to be Ali again for player of the year though.
Caldwell has come on leaps and bounds since the 3 centre halves were introduced, the added protection is just what he needed and his performances since that change have merited him enough to get my vote !
