Recalled from MY Dons
Happy New Year everyone1 January 2017 at 3:59 pm #153616Great news…..now we just need to re-call Ryan Colclough as well from same club!!!!
1 January 2017 at 4:59 pm #153617Bloody tablet predictive :)
1 January 2017 at 8:32 pm #153620It wouldn’t shock me if he’s loaned straight back out. It’s all to do with the clubs finances which don’t look too good at the moment.
We’ll loan him out again then bring in another loanee on 30 bob a week saving us a few thousand a week (same goes for Morsey).
If we go down we’ll have another huge clean out. With no more parachute payments and a loss of Championship revenue we won’t be able to keep him and he’ll probably want out anyway.
It looks well when were pinning our hopes on a player who looked average first time round1 January 2017 at 9:18 pm #153621It wouldn’t shock me if he’s loaned straight back out. Doesnt add up that lad.
Fuck the EFL

I personally think we’re in the brown stuff deeper than a lot of people actually know about.
Bruce once said when he left us for Sunderland “Its like shopping at Harrods rather than Tescos”. Right now I’d say its more like the food bank or the skip round the back looking for anything that’s free with a little bit of shelf life left.2 January 2017 at 2:39 pm #153630spot on cupwinners…..but might have brought him back to sell 50k is better than nowt if they can get 50k for him
50k being a joke by the way some mk dons fans saying he looked disinterested of late they think the new manager does not rate him…also looks knackerd after 30 min
i too think our club is in the brown stuff more than the owners would like to say2 January 2017 at 3:42 pm #153631Some very negative conjecture there, happy new year! :)
2 January 2017 at 4:40 pm #153632Well proof that they are not backing the manager. Will not bring in trainers he wants (finance) now Sharp deciding he knows the requirements on the pitch! This has the smell of a Chippy.
I hope people consider this and should relegation occur it is a combination of shocking pre season signings (loanees), overseen by the Chairman and players who are just not fit or good enough for the Championship. Very little blame can be levelled at the Manager who,it appears, is not getting the backing he needs.
But they could beat Huddersfield today and start a long hard climb to the Premiership!
2 January 2017 at 4:49 pm #153633We may not be in the brown stuff as deep as some think. Depends what is meant by brown stuff.
We have minimal debt or do we not, all depends on who we are and what the assets are. Wigan Athletic are spread over different companies. Compared with debts of Premier League clubs any debt we have is minimal.Compared with some Championship clubs our debt is minimal.
Also one simple move of assets from one company to another and we are a rich club.I allways thought selling Springy and moving to a new ground was supposed to be the end of financial worries. It would be if the ground was your own. But the ground is our own and also it isn’t. It’s such a mixed up mess of Dave’s companies.
I think that there is also a massive lack in communication from our Chairboy and Chief Executive. These pair should be communicating much more to re-assure the fans about the playing, financial, ambition and future side of things. If they did we may know we are just treading in Shoite and not up to the waste in it like an Arnside quicksand.2 January 2017 at 10:19 pm #153642Wigan Athletic are spread over different companiesTheres a reason for that.
2 January 2017 at 11:00 pm #153650Well a few really. Tax is one and offsetting against profits. The other is that money can be controlled easier when overseen in different enterprises and a third investing all your money in a football club is like chucking your cash in a huge black hole. It’s also one thing giving your grandson a new toy to play with and it’s another to give him total control of all your purse strings.
2 January 2017 at 11:18 pm #153658I think the main one is that it is easier to sell with assests, but should we get into financial trouble they can’t be taken off us to cover debts.
