No “out of town” fans allowed
You’d best give the ticket office a bell. Maybe they can give you a QR code for the game to make sure you get in. (The staff seem very helpful when I’ve dealt with them for the rugby so far)
Will be an even lower crowd without us out of towners
Good idea about talking to the TO, will do tomorrow if not received again…at least our post is coming early at the moment!
12 August 2021 at 3:12 pm #193211Just phoned the ticket office due to my S/T not turning up again and was told that there had been an issue with addressing and rather than send out incorrectly addressed tickets as a result I would have to collect in person from the stadium.
12 August 2021 at 3:52 pm #193212Had an email a few minutes ago from the TO confirming my ST is stuck there -and to collect in person. They’re advising people to go tomorrow.
Can’t do tomorrow due to that minor inconvenience called work, so guess I’m joining the queue on Saturday
12 August 2021 at 4:07 pm #193213Me too – despite being a season ticket holder since 1994 and never changed address..:
We are contacting you to inform you that your 2021/22 Season Ticket has been processed, however we have been unable to post your ticket due to address details being incomplete.
As a result, your ticket is available to collect from the DW Stadium Ticket Office prior to Saturday’s match with Rotherham United.
However, we strongly advise you collect your ticket from the Ticket Office on Friday (9am-5pm) or as early as possible on matchday (from 9am) to avoid queues at the Ticket Office. We anticipate lengthy queues from 1.30pm onwards and while our staff will endeavour to assist supporters efficiently, we would appreciate collections as early as possible, so supporters do not miss any of the pre-match build-up or action.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Like i said in my last post – admin at latics is terrible, always has been
12 August 2021 at 4:36 pm #193217Heres the reason:
“Hi Ian,
I’m sorry, your Season Ticket has in fact not been posted – we were made aware of an error yesterday evening with some of the addresses, and as such sent an email out today to the affected supporters.
When we’ve received your Season Ticket from the printer, for some reason your full address has not appeared, and as such we were unable to safely send it out. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience, but this will now need to be collected from the DW Stadium Ticket Office.
Apologies
12 August 2021 at 5:33 pm #193220Mine arrived so no out of towners rule Ad.
Up the St Helens Tics
13 August 2021 at 10:46 am #193228Got my S/T this morning, joined the queue just before 9 am and by 9-02 am was on my way home again.
Happy days14 August 2021 at 8:21 am #193251I’m an out of towner supporter (since 2004) & I received mine on Tuesday no problem through the post. I know of a family from Crewe who all received theirs on Monday. It seems the majority of the out of towners got their tickets first.
14 August 2021 at 9:36 am #193252It was only a joke Runcorn
Been processing the Supporters Club stuff this week and we have members as far as America and Australia. Truly a world wide fan base
I did think only the rugby had out of town fans though
14 August 2021 at 1:12 pm #193255Ticket duly collected. No queue at all (it is us after all not Utd
)
Signs up about face nappy wearing at the turnstiles. Ceased to be a legal requirement 19 July so they
can stick them where the Sun doesn’t shineOtherwise great to be back before we were so rudely interrupted
