He certainly does and whilst not splashing money around “willy nilly” will upset some fans, I’m personally glad about it as it safeguards the clubs future as he says.
With the money around in football at the moment though we probably need a season or two in the Premier League.
I think that is what most teams will think, but the reality is that they will spend, spend and spend in a desperate bid to stay there. Overpaying the odds for the already overpaid players to turn up and pretend to have wanted to play for that team for all their lives.
The only ones getting richer are the top 7 clubs, agents and players…..
