If not, maybe you’ve got a point.
1 February 2012 at 2:18 am #79987….and having said all that we could and should have crabbed a draw. Connor Sammon will be having nightmares tonight when he sees the match highlights.
If you girls had stopped squabbling, you would have seen a massive improvement in the second half.
I suppose it was down to spurs taking their foot off the gas but we were inches away from getting back in that game.
First half, worst I’ve seen from a Latics team since getting to the prem, including the 9-1 hammering. However, second half picked up the pace and gave it a go.. Lets hope they play like that for 90 mins on Saturday. :woohoo:From Matlock to ManU

1 February 2012 at 2:29 am #79994Thats the exact point though JR, we never do that do we . Spurs had bought themselves the breathing space to make subs, let us have possession and hit us on the break.
We never have any consistency and what Beausajour? was doing for that first goal, i’ll never know. We all know barring a miracle we are going down, just depends know on how we go about making the transition with or without the current manager.

We are going down barring a miracle?. We have to get a few more points than 3 other teams who are also struggling. Tough, yes, miracle noooooooo!!

What a journey!1 February 2012 at 2:37 am #79999A footballing miracle considering our current stats re goals conceded and scored, which don’t tend to lie and form a benchmark for what is likely to happen in the future unless something changes significantly.
With a manager that rarely changes anything i’d say we need a miracle.
