This must be one of the quietest fans forums and it used to be so busy.
I know we have quite a few registered members, but how many active posters have we got, and what is being done or what can be done to get more people using it?Any suggestion???

But the mods seem to have respect and loyalty towards the clown.If the idiot would sling his hook and stop having sly digs at Latics the lads on here wouldnt have to retaliate with anti rugby posts.

Well said Bullit. Thing is as well Horc there are one or two who come on here from time to time who are just too quick to knock a fellow supporters opinion. That’s another reason.
Debate ok but just knock other fans down simply because they have a different view or express a different opinion well that puts folk off.

I would say social media ie fb people spend alot of time on there so it’s easier to join a group on there. Maybe it’s time for a group to be created on fb

I have no issues mentioning the rugby and taking the piss. I do it myself, but on here almost EVERY thread turns into a childish “our crowds bigger than yours” conversation.
Folk wont use facebook to say what they say on here because they would very quickly be identified and find a letter landing on their doormat with an invitation to explain their libellous comments in court.
Imagine what would have happened if the CL user who referred to an ex-WW player as a paedophile had done so on FB, rather than on here where a quick word to a moderator saw it swiftly removed.
I’ve been posting on CL since its infancy and it was never like this. I don’t post on any other site but I will never understand why any Latics fans would want to give rugby a single thought if they claim to hate the sport like me. Egg is a fan of both so him I can get but why waste your breath spouting bile and then get upset when the tables are turned?. I couldn’t tell you the score or league position of the eggs coz I don’t give a flyer about them. I would love this board to be like it used to be instead of it being a battlefield between cyber warriors arguing about who is bigger.
