And there is me thinking we had lost 1-4 goodpost
4 January 2012 at 2:48 am #76813There’s only one stat that means anything: we put round bouncy thing in rectangular netty thing once. They did it four times.
Stats prove nothing.
You’ll be telling us next that attendances matter.

If you went to the game you would know what i was on about sweetheart -x-
4 January 2012 at 2:53 am #76818Our defence didnt help?farting around withit then lose it,they scored 3 good goals 2night’i know it shudnt have been a free kick but if we cant score goals its game over.
4 January 2012 at 1:26 pm #76884Being clinical finishers is what the premiership is all about. We are doing better of late, but still need to step up and kill games off when we are on top.
4 January 2012 at 2:03 pm #76885If you went to the game you would know what i was on about sweetheart -x-I was there and whilst it was close in the 1st half, Sunderland’s cutting edge was clear, whilst Wigan was more huff & puff – even more so when that lump Salmon came on – is he your new Jason Scotland???
Anyway, the facts are that attendances, corners, shots on/off target, possession, crowd figures, away followings, ticket prices, free kicks, tackles won and average age of players count for nothing – its all about how many times your players score. Sunderland scored 4 and Wigan scored 1.
And yer pitch looks sh!t – can you sort it before us peanut hugging klumps start using it again.
4 January 2012 at 3:09 pm #76890I accept that the only stat that really matters at the end of the day is how many times you put the bouncy rubber thing in the netty thing.
There will indeed be many football fans around the country who will look at last night’s result and assume that Wigan got a right stuffing and that Sunderland were a different class. However all those that were in attendance ( and Yosser on his laptop ) will know that it was far from the case.
Just as you can’t judge a book by it’s cover you can’t always judge a game by it’s result – unless like McGoose you want to live in blissful ignorance.

Your eggy yorky mon is a well known Sunderland supporter who admitted to being a Wigan Athletic supporter many years ago.
Can you, however, stop with the rugby goading now please? I’m getting really bored with it; I watch rugby union, and by god that can get boring sometimes, but this is taking tedium to new uninspiring heights.
