Great bit of business is this for many reasons!
9 March 2016 at 10:11 am #147555Is he any good? What does he play best at left back or wing back? He is 34 so experience could be a good thing at this stage but on Saturday Gary prefered a right back Wabara in that position rather than Kellet a left back. Where then will McCann play when back from suspension? or James when back from injury?
9 March 2016 at 1:53 pm #147558Even at 34 he is a far better player than McCann and his experience will stand us in good stead. Like GC said, “It was a no brainer”
10 March 2016 at 12:01 am #147562I thought McCann was playing really well, frequently dancing the McCannCann on his routs up into attack.
As for Warnock, I heard that Gary had been poached by managerless Chelsea, and the Warnock coming to Wigan was Neil.
10 March 2016 at 11:41 pm #147566Kellett isn’t fully fit is he?
13 March 2016 at 12:58 am #147584Well, don’t think he brought much to the team today!
First game I know, but at 34 and with his experience he should be showing more composure than he did..
Let’s hope he performs better next week.14 March 2016 at 2:01 pm #147602For those that saw the game, is Caldwell right about Warnock?
Fuck the EFL
20 March 2016 at 1:25 am #147654Was excellent today; calm, composed and rarely put a foot wrong. Keep it up Stephen ! My MoM today, without a doubt !

He has a great football brain and knows when to go forward and when to stay put. His passing is bang on, hard and to feet and gives the receiver more time to decide which way to go, Grigg was loving it.
The other thing I noticed was his heading ability, doesn’t look a 6 footer, but wins most of his headed challenges with some force as well.
Great acquisition to the squad and well done to GC yet again. :cheer:From Matlock to ManU
What a journey! -
