“Did he not win the corner that led to Buxton scoring the winner at Wolves?
Blind faith or a deliberate piss take JR?
Fuck the EFL
22 February 2017 at 2:46 am #155689I certainly hope he will be playing the Wildschut role Sam. Apparently he has the pace and can pass too. Just hope it is in time, but will Bogle be any better as a lone striker than Grigg? If he has the support Grigg as had all season from midfield, he won’t be.

Grigg has been poor all season and there’s no reason to think he will get any better. There have been enough quality crosses into the box this season and Grigg has either failed to get on the end of or messed up. Stop making excuses for him.

Bully-olayyy! Best comment going that buddy.
22 February 2017 at 3:21 am #155696Well that has been one of the major problems Sam, the lack of quality crosses into the box.

The perception maybe a lack of quality crosses but if Grigg had managed to get on the end of some and convert them into goals you’d hold a different view.
He had an excellent season for us last year but this year, for whatever reason, he’s been woeful.22 February 2017 at 3:45 am #155700Anonymous

Will Grigg, Obertan, Dave and Eric don’t quite gel the same as a pineapple fritter, and no word of a lie, that worries me more than most.. on AND off the pitch.
22 February 2017 at 10:45 pm #155740Surely he is a must play at home on Saturday but who else will play?
How about
Gilks
Connoly Burn Buxton Warnock
Gilbey Morsy Perkins Obertan
Bogle GriggThis line up also utilises our own players apart from the Everton lad.

Don’t talk soft Donny lad, that looks like the fabled 4-4-2 not seen around these parts for years. Didn’t you hear that it has become extinct?.
22 February 2017 at 11:34 pm #155743Yes Nuneaton Tic. Strange because it works and is interesting to watch.

You sir, make a lot if sense.
23 February 2017 at 2:22 pm #155756Yes Nuneaton Tic. Strange because it works and is interesting to watch. And you’re basing that theory on what?
23 February 2017 at 6:50 pm #155770Yes Nuneaton Tic. Strange because it works and is interesting to watch.Didn’t we play 442 at rotheram donny.
The 451, 433 or whatever you want to call it, can just be as exciting as the good old 442, IF used correctly. Which, we are not doing at the moment.
23 February 2017 at 8:19 pm #155771No I think we played a version of the Wolves, Nob End and QPR games.
I know what you mean though.
I suppose it’s just a way to cry out for us to be positive and as you rightly say formations don’t matter much it’s really about getting the ball in the opposition’s box and net.
I am blinkered though from that period of football that took us through the leagues and also in the past before that even when we were shit we used to go at sides and it felt like we had tried to win.
This lot nowadays is just so boring.23 February 2017 at 9:01 pm #155772Sorry guys but how do play 4-4-2 using wing backs? Just coz we have 2 strikers on the field doesn’t mean we are going 4-4-2. That’s been our failing we need to revert to a flat back four thus asking your full backs to be just that. Many of the goals we concede are from balls in from the channels or from long punts up field. Lets shore it up at the back and get players playing in their comfort zone. Time to stop expecting average players to play Premier league football. Obviously its just my opinion
