I was embarrassed that the Latics don’t do anything like that. Anything that gives the club some sort of identity in the town should be encouraged and again shows why the rugby will continue to consolidate their crowds in the town.

Scharner is not fit to lace the boots of any of the fore mentioned players.
He was half decent for a season or so until he started to whinge that he was a midfielder and not a defender.
He, and obviously you believed he was far better than he actually was.
He did nothing for two seasons apart from try to get away from us and instigate a move to a ‘big’ club.

According to Mr Scharner they did.If his behaviour over the last 2 or three seasons is what makes players legends, then maybe you feel N’Zogbia should be given the Freedom of Wigan.

Scharner is a legend….yeah, course he is. Can you imagine people mentioning his name decades after he played for us like you mention Harry Lyon? Of the players I saw play for us that you mention, PS isn’t fit to lace their drinks never mind their boots.

50 new players???? Me thinks Mr Scharner has got his Roberto’s in a twist, maybe Mancini has got close to 50 (very much doubt it like), but us bringing in 50 players, must be something in the Austrian air
WBA a big club, 50 new players, sounds like he’s over exaggerating on all fronts.
As to slagging him off. If the pilluk had just left and kept his big austrian mouth shut, I for one would have patted him on the back and said thanks for his efforts.
To come out with this big club milarky and tip us for relegation is an insult to his previous employers and people associated with WAFC who gave him the chance to ply his trade in the premier league. I hope he gets stuffed into the centre half position and his team duly go on to be relegated.
