What seems like a policy of not having strikers in the squad has come back to bite us now.Grigg and Bogle both out leaving us with no experienced striker to flounder around up front on their own or together without a winger.
Whose going to lead the line tomorrow? The young lad Mandron or one of our own juniors? Colclough possibly play out of position or Gabby out of position. Jacobs maybe out of position.
What a shambolic state Caldwell and Joyce have left us in.4 April 2017 at 1:13 am #157498Mandron and Allovertan. Whats happened to Bogle.
4 April 2017 at 1:18 am #157499Bogle probably out for rest of season with a muscle tear!
4 April 2017 at 1:31 am #157500Thanks …… Poor guy ….. he’ll be fed up.

What a shambolic state Caldwell and Joyce have left us in.There were strikers at the club when Caldwell left, Davies and ALF went under Joyce’s tenure.
Joyce had plenty of time to address the striker situation but chose to ignore it and flooded the squad with inept midfielders instead.
That prick has single handedly destroyed this season and the annoying thing is that Sharpe and co sat back and let him do it!
Fuck the EFL

He replaced them with Bogle and Mandron both players for the future but Bogle and Grigg with Mandron in reserve was tempting disaster anyway.
We were in a mess when Joyce arrived thanks to Gary but although Gary’s football wasn’t my cup of tea I said at the time it would be a risk sacking him. Replacing him with Yootha was a huge mistake but overseen by Sharpe and Jackson. They gambled, it didn’t work and now they’ve paid the price and we move on.Lets hope who ever arrives believes in forwards competing for a place.4 April 2017 at 2:45 pm #157509Thanks …… Poor guy ….. he’ll be fed up.Fed up because of the injury ? or fed up that he joined a shower of sh!te ?
Whoever made the desision to let Fondre go in the Jan window should be taken down to market square and publicly flogged with a cat n nine tails made up of knotted Tic scarfs.
No club at any level should ever be left with anything less than 3 recognised strikers, but then again its Latics.4 April 2017 at 2:56 pm #157510Id say its more joyces fault than Garys.
Signed loads of nobodys for the future when we needed players now.
