Ridgewell had N’Zogbia in his pocket and Scharner was just absolutely shocking. The substitutions were quite effective, we looked more of a threat in the second half and with the chances Hugo had were perhaps unlucky not to get a point.

Childish, insulting and not even remotely amusing. Adds nothing.
1 March 2010 at 3:23 pm #24863AbramLatic:
obviously I don’t understand football, but I would have made a decision before 10 games were left.
May be after the 9 goal humiliation at Tottenham, the humiliation of being dumped out of each cup competition by lower league opposition. May be after realising the players Martinez insists on keep playing are garbage.
How about after Martinez predicted Jason Scotlands goals in the top flight?
If 10 games is too late. May be just before the transfer window and see if it would result in us soaring up to 7th again?
You say getting rid of Martinez would do no good, but what good is it doing us keeping him?1 March 2010 at 3:33 pm #24865AbramLatic:You say getting rid of Martinez would do no good, but what good is it doing us keeping him?Because the alternative would be either nobody in charge, or Barrow, or Jones.
Its not working…yet
1 March 2010 at 4:02 pm #24876This equates to the scene in star wars, when luke turns of his targetting system….. stay on target and believe in the force roberto !
What the hell, if we do go down no one can say we didnt deserve too !!!

1 March 2010 at 5:42 pm #24895“Because the alternative would be either nobody in charge, or Barrow, or Jones” – or maybe, just maybe they could work behind the scenes & get a manager lined up prior to giving Bobby the heave-ho. Plenty of other clubs manage to do it
“Its not working…yet” – how long do we wait? I’ve seen no consistant sign that anything Bobby is trying to put in place is actually working, nor that the majority of his signings appear good enough for top flight football which would give me no confidence for next season should Latics, by some miracle, stay up
It isn’t working, shows no signs of working & we have a manager who appears out of his depth & unable to learn from his mistakes – topped off with seemingly demoralised players, short on ability & confidence in their manager1 March 2010 at 8:11 pm #24930Because the alternative would be either nobody in charge, or Barrow, or Jones” – or maybe, just maybe they could work behind the scenes & get a manager lined up prior to giving Bobby the heave-ho. I cant imagine we would ever be so organised. We cant even unveil a manager when we have chosen one.Its not working…yet” – how long do we wait? There are three teams in this league worse than us so cheer up.
2 March 2010 at 12:53 am #24968That is exactly my point, Bath Latic….if we were going to sack Martinez, it should have been done maybe a month or so ago, to give the new man perhaps around half a season to try and turn things round.
