If I am reading the FA suspensions list correctly (and it isn#t the easiest thing to read) then we have both Figueroa and Thomas banned for Saturday.
Presume McArthur would come in for Thomas, but who would be our best left back for Saturday? Don’t fancy the chances of a part-time lefty up against Downing and/or Young :shock:

Well lets put it this way Figs would have had a nightmare so the lad is lucky to be missing it ! I am sure I saw NZogbia filling in at left back once ? Might as well because I cant see Bob going all attack attack against Villa !!
Stick Gohouri at left back, and put Stam at right back. I’m sure I have seen Gohouri play there once this season and he seemed to do alright.
i can’t see Bobby taking a chance with the young lad Mustoe so I assume (like the post above) that he’ll switch Gohouri to left back (where he played a full game against can’t remember who & where he played the last 15 minutes or so against Stoke) & play Stam at right back
Although Sky’s highlights mentioned Cleverley had gone off with a rib injury at half-time on Saturday so if he isn’t fit then it leaves us with a bit of a hole to fill down the wing too – I assume he’d stick Rodallega out on the flank & bring Boselli back up front
