Given that it is highly unlikely that Labour will lose this seat what is the best way to vote to give them an almighty scare?
Presuming that the Tories have no chance – even though I believe Gekko was the first one to vote this morning and gave them an early 1-0 lead – is it best to vote Lib-Dem?
Or does it not matter a jot if we are just talking about trying to reduce their majority? :?
6 May 2010 at 2:58 pm #32123if you just wanna scare em as opposed to vote them out then it doesn’t really matter who else you choose
If you wanna get em out & want to vote tactically then the only thing I could suggest is to vote for whichever party came second last time as it stands to reason they’ll be their biggest challengers today too
6 May 2010 at 3:44 pm #32135if you just wanna scare em as opposed to vote them out then it doesn’t really matter who else you chooseYeah, I sort of realised that after I posted. It would be nice if everyone who doesn’t want to vote for them picked the same protest candidate to vote for which would obviously give them biggest fright, as you say.
OK then, anyone wishing to play along, I’ll vote Tory as I know at least one other person who has done so too. 2-0 to the Blues so far :)

7 May 2010 at 6:00 am #32301me as well james but my manor is south ribble, this is my last throw of the dice as this is the 3rd time i have voted(other times i was of no fixed abode as i did not pay the poll the tax). perhaps my brother is right and they all piss in the same pot and they would do or say anything just to stay on the gravy train.if it is a hung parliament which as i write this looks more then likely then brown squatting in number 10 stinks to high heaven
7 May 2010 at 8:57 am #32302I don’t know where all these Labour voters are, I speak to hundreds of people everyday from different walks of life, I know of 1 person who voted Labour. To me there’s a bit of dodgy dealing going on here in Wigan, is it Gordon’s wife counting our votes or something ?
