We did actually create 2 or 3 very scorable chances, plus James ‘thur finally got the start he deserved.
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!11 September 2011 at 1:07 pm #71216we’re not Bolton
11 September 2011 at 1:16 pm #71217We are still in the top half of the table
See where we were this time last year…FA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that
12 September 2011 at 1:02 am #71237Each of Aguero’s goals were pinpoint finishing – very few other strikers would have scored all 3
It was only 1-0 at halftime time
We didn’t capitulate unlike our nearby rivals against “their local rivals” (plus we were away from home)
Tevez didn’t score against us.
Casserole dish got a run out.
12 September 2011 at 11:54 am #71241As you say it could have been worse, Maybe the best thing ever happened in terms of bad defeats was the 9-1 game. Everything better than that seems a relief…
We were pretty lucky and had some half decent chances ourselves. Goal difference didnt take a battering either.
We wont be relegated by this result, next 3 games out
of the way and we have a great run till december.13 September 2011 at 12:16 am #71268some great points there chaps

I think we will anyway. Playing them at a good time, with the fans revolting e.t.c, Let’s just hope they protest again before kick off.
Just hope the confidence has not been knocked out of them after the weekend.(us i mean)
13 September 2011 at 12:31 am #71271I actually thought at one point in the second half that we were going to nick a point. We had a couple of chances, the Hugo one being the best, but once Aguero made it 2 it was a case of shutting up shop and not getting hammered.
We’ve conceded less goals against City than anyone else perhaps as a positive?
