What’s all this about now I have heard conflicting stories about this some saying the proposed strike action is about pay and others saying it is health and safety issues what is the proper story ?

28 March 2012 at 2:16 am #84162Its health and safety issues, pity the rest of the industry couldnt come out in support and and turn it into a fuel protest as well.If only we could use the same blockade tactics the Kermits use.Every government will not be happy until the British Haulage Industry is dead.

They are well paid but in haulage its a 24/7 52 weeks of the year job.Saturdays and Sundays are the norm as are nights.Ive missed out on so much just by being a trucker its become a crap proffesion and im only still in it because I cant get a job elsewhere and earn a living wage.

Francis Maude today issued a statement about the forth coming strike that the public should stock up on gerry cans of petrol and keep yhem in there house :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
