He’s got to start with Moreno, he will give the Villa defence a few problems and we looked fantastic at home to Liverpool when he started with Hugo on the left cutting in and N’Zogbia doing the same from the right.
I’m not sure whether Roberto will make changes in defence/midfield, maybe drop Scharner and play Thomas? Leave McCarthy and Diame in central midfield and play Moses behind the striker?
The only reason I can think Moreno didn’t start on Saturday was due to fitness or picking up a knock against Liverpool as there should have been no changes made from the previous game.
I’m confident about tonight, we looked good at home against Liverpool and fancy us to just edge Villa tonight, 2-1 with Moreno and N’Zogbia.
Maybe we will get a little bit of luck tonight, a penalty, dubious decision such as a goal given to us when the player was offside or commited a foul, Diame hits it from 30 yards and it takes 3 deflections before hitting the back of the net. You never know!
I too would like to believe that Moreno didn’t play any part on Saturday because he had a knock or possibly had a bit of flu or whatever.
I like the idea of Moses in the hole , but if Moreno is fit I think he’ll start with the same eleven that started against Liverpool.
The main reason we beat Liverpool , I’ll never tire of writing that , was because the whole team worked their nuts off and wanted it more than them. Hopefully tonight will be similar. It has to be !!!
Oh , and of course we must score first to have any chance.
