Come on, chaps. We’ve got to be as single-minded as Bob and Captain Calamity and keep this young team together and in the top flight. We never expected points out of the Scousers, Dirty Reds or Sh1tty. All we need to do is get a few jammy ‘uns, mug teams like they do us, and embark on something we’ve not seen since the Championship … a bit of a run. It’s not unthinkable.
PS/ This is essentially a test post as I’ve been locked out of CL for some reason lately

quite a bold statement. however, looking at the table were only 2 points from safety with 10 games left. I think we will go down, but I am not yet resigned to the fact. the way weve played the last 4 games gives me hope, we just need to be ALOT better defensively, boyce will be back for gohouri which will be a massive boost as gohouri is dreadful at right back and boyce is a great full back
cleverly back aswell.
COME ON LATICS1 March 2011 at 2:47 am #60841PS/ This is essentially a test post as I’ve been locked out of CL for some reason latelyIt does that to posters when they get as old as you!
Happy 40th mate, see you for the Brum game.P.S. Have you managed to book a pass for you and the young’uns to join the West Stand codgers?
1 March 2011 at 10:33 am #60851I expect the Latics to still be bottom of the league at 3pm on 16 April, before the Blackpool game. However, the final 6 games offer several chances of salvation – all against sides that are either going to be in the relegation scrap, or with nothing but a higher position to play for.
It all depends on how much of a stomach for a scrap the players have.
3 March 2011 at 12:50 am #61051I was speaking to a Spurs supporter just today who reckons we’ll beat them. Would be our first double in ages.
Anyway, in answer to your question, Horc: the missus says, ‘Yes, so long as he doesn’t sit behind the bloke who says f****ing Wigan every five minutes’. I did tell her that that rules out about 11,000 seats.
And the lad himself say he wants to go, but only because it’s an opportunity to wave the flag you gave him. Would you be able to transfer to the South Stand for the day? And, you know, sort the tickets?
6 March 2011 at 2:22 am #61362Gah! We’ve got our dates mixed up haven’t we, Horc? Brum game is the week after we’re up. Balls!
