More likely that Scharner’s agent has been on the phone to the Mail, trying to get Fulham to offer a bigger wage.Can’t see Moyes wanting Scharner at Everton. Why would he?
Well, if he was after him as a defender, would he pick him ahead of Joseph Yobo, Johnny Heitinga, Sylvain Distain, Phil Jagielka, and Phillipe Senderos (Or was he only on loan?)
No, he wouldn’t. I also don’t think Everton fans would have the patience needed for Scharner. His best move may well be Fulham. If he goes to a bigger club, he’ll be a fringe player, and not play much.
