What a journey!Having the corners open allows air to pass over the pitch and so helps to dry it out in winter, what with having the lodgers rolling about on it if we were to fill in the corners we’d be playing in a right quagmire!
Then again that just might give us an advantage.
Very nice ground that, It’s like a scaled down version of Man City’s ground. If they can stay up they will do the championship proud.

I don’t believe that theory. Look at the emerites pitch-billiard table, white hart lane-billiard table,SJP-billiard table, there are loads..Leeds, Reading, Hull, etc. etc.

What a journey!Feckin love Brighton. In the Championship Season (1997) I was young but I’ll never forget their fans protesting at Springfied Park about the owner / sale of their ground / failure to get a new ground, etc* and Latics fans shaking hands and supporting them both in and outside the ground. Was a weird day.
Away trips are superb aswell. (Crosses fingers & shuts eyes) FA Cup 3rd Round 2012, Brighton & Hove Albion will play…
* I know that some of these may not be right, I was 10 so feck off!
the dw stadium in its current form could never have the corners filled in, the concrete sides of the north and south stands are the main supporting columns for the east and west stand roof trusses, which in turn support the north and south stand roof.
the only way to fill the corners would be to build the stadium again or put terraces behind the concrete support walls from where 90% of the new seats would not be able to see much of the pitch.

surprising what can be done if you throw enough money at things, manchester united,chelsea and man city spring to mind.
as i said before without completley rebuilding the dw no corners will be filled in.
Lets fill in the corners and have more empty seats..cool..I was thinking more on the lines of getting more Saints fans in when they play the chubsters.

Did you know Wigan ath hold the stadium record and wigan rugby dont even hold the record attendance for a thugby team! How you men talk about our empty seats is beyond me!
