Yootha had this to say about The Angel. Most of you will have read this but if this is for real then this lad will soon be a fans favourite and let’s hope he can turn it on on the pitch. Welcome to our club Gabriel.
“Gabby was one of those signings that came out of the blue really. He was on his way to either Crystal Palace or a top French club, and I had no way of contacting him so he phoned me and asked if he could come here. He’s on what is probably the smallest wage he’s ever had in his life and he just wants to try and help this football club, which is a massive plus. To have a player of his stature at 27 years of age desperate to come and play is a credit to him. We’ve got to get his fitness up a little bit because he’s not done a lot for the past three to four weeks due to the winter break in Russia, but he’s a great signing for us on a free transfer.
I also say this and other signings says a great deal for Warren Joyce so let’s hope they all settle in well with the existing squad.

You engage in some sensible discussions but spoil it with that shyte. :P

Don’t be such a kill joy, everyone has a nickname on here so why not on the football pitch.
It has gone on for years, are you telling me that you never called Ellington The Duke?? or Ian Kilford, Killer.
There must be more nicknames from the past, get them posted, jrfatfan, or is it Peter, will appreciate them.
