Since the beginning of time, man has been trying to fathom how a womans mind works.
Take my missus. She TOLD me to (not asked) me to tidy up our cloakroom/toilet today, adding “…and sort the coat-hooks up, and move any of YOUR coats that you won’t be wearing over the summer”. No problem with her request, as it needed doing. I smirked at her coat comments, though.
Well, I’ve just done it, and you know what? Yes, I had 3 coats hung up. All which have been worn by me. But she has FOUR, and she never even wears any of them! It’s typical of a woman. When I point it out to her, she will denie it. She has done before.
Also, when you’ve been together a while, women try to start dictating to you about most things. The secret is, not to give them too much authority. Because once they start bossing you, you’ve had it! :(
I pretty much do as I please. It’s just a case of showing a degree of respect along the way. I’m not a big drinker, but if I do fancy going out for a few pints with my mates, or even a major session, I don’t have to plead to do so. And vice versa. I also try and give a bit of warningIf it gets like that, where she’s trying to keep you ‘under the thumb’ and you are being bossed by her, it’s time to get out.
