To be known as The Macron Stadium from next season.
Wonder if that helps pay off their debts?
A new sponsorship deal means Bolton Wanderers’ ground is set to be rebranded as the Macron Stadium from July this year.
Phil Gartside, chairman of the Championship side, says: “This is an extremely exciting and beneficial deal for our club. We will be proud to carry the Macron brand on our stadium and official merchandise for the coming seasons.”
It has been known as Reebok Stadium since it was opened in 1997.24 April 2014 at 3:55 pm #130216Reebok was founded in Bolton in 1958.
Macron comes from Italy.

No it isnt. Macron was a video shop in Gidlow Lane. And it did betamax. Didnt know they sponsored stadiums as well. Fair play.

24 April 2014 at 6:27 pm #130220Can’t see what the big deal is. So they’ve changed sponsors, so what? It happens all the time.

24 April 2014 at 7:05 pm #130224“Bolton Wanderers will also be wearing a Macron-branded match kit, training and leisurewear as part of the wide-ranging 4-year deal.”
It’s wider-ranging than you might expect;
Bolton join;
from GALLES
BANGOR CITY
and from SCOZIA
NEWTOWN Welsh Premier League
AFAN LIDO Welsh Premier League
CARMATHEN TOWN Welsh Premier League
So, is Scotland inviting parts of Wales to join them in an independent country?
